Nargiz Hajiyeva (MUSKIE 07) conducted Ethics in Leadership Training for 24 high school principles within the Leadership Projects of the Center for Innovation in Education in December. The training was organized in one of the Open Society Institute's Centers. Principles were informed on the topic of "bullying in the work environment" through theory and case study application. 

Natavan Elchiyeva (UGRAD 08) and Aynura Piriyeva (UGRAD 08) participated at the youth training focused on the concepts of positive peace and culture of peace named "Peace Action, Peace Satisfaction" on 5-13 December, 2009 in Wroclaw, Poland. Youth from 7 countries gathered together from Poland, Bulgaria, Latvia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Jordan and Egypt to share their experiences and views on peace action.

Anar Babayev (UGRAD 08) and Arzu Mammadova (UGRAD 08) attended UN Model Conference in Bonn, Germany  from November 30th till December 4th, 2009. As Anar stated: "Conference was a good chance for us to deepen our knowledge about UN working system, its strategies, diplomatic exchange of views and how they make decisions within UN system in different countries". 

Ahad Kazimov (MUSKIE 06) conducted a training on "Improvement of Public Awareness on Corporate Social Responsibility" at the Diplomat Hotel on December 18th within Alumni Small Grants Program. Experts on corporate social responsibility were invited to the training to lead sessions on "CSR conceptions", "CSR in Azerbaijan", "Social-Individual Cooperation", "Benefit of NGO - Business cooperation", "Social Ownership", "Community Funds" and "How NGOs can encourage business companies to cooperate". Training was organized for NGO directors and employees, business company employees and media representatives.
