Muskie Career Development Series13.02.2010

IREX in cooperation with AAA started a series of monthly presentations conducted by Muskie alumni on various career opportunities in Azerbaijan. Alumni of the Muskie program talk about the path from getting an education abroad to developing a successful career back home. The series started on February 13, 2010 at the University of Languages. The first presentation was on MBA Career Opportunities in Azerbaijan and it was conducted by two Muskie alumni: Ayten Baghirova (2007-2009)- (Monterey Institute of International Studies, CA - MBA) and Elmaddin Dadashov (2006-2008) - (North Park University, IL- MBA).This presentation was attended by 15 students from different Azerbaijani universities. Julien Sloane, Director of Business Development, Sloane Group DE was also invited as a guest and served as an interesting addition to the panel. He shared his story about how he got his MBA degree and how he started his own company. The next session will take place in March and will be on Economics Career Development.
