Involving Parents in the Lives of their Special Needs Children12.06.2010

Lamiya Sharafkhanova, Muskie 2007, has completed a series of workshops in Baku and the Mingachevir region dedicated to raising parents' involvement into the lives of children with special needs. As a result of these workshops, parents' attitudes towards disability issues have completely been altered. "After this workshop, I finally understood that disability isn't a sickness," - Gudrat Aliyev, parent of a child with special needs.
