IMPORTANT - Scam related to ASG application solicitation03.06.2010

Dear Alumni, We recently learned that there seems to be some sort of scam out of the UK on the Alumni Small Grants applications. The application looks like our form but notes within the instructions that there is a mandatory $200 application fee that can be sent by Western Union, etc and that the grant amount is for $300,000. Please note that IREX never charges an application fee for any of the programs it implements. Paper applications should always be submitted to known IREX representatives within your home country.
